♻️ WHY IT MATTERS
Good for you. Better for the planet.
The fashion industry is one of the world's biggest polluters. We think that's rubbish, literally. So from day one, we've been obsessed with finding smarter ways to make bags that last, that look incredible, and that don't cost the Earth its future.
Every choice we make, from the factories we partner with to the threads we use, is guided by one simple question: can we do this better?
Recycled Nylon
Our nylon is made from fabric scraps and offcuts left over from factories - the bits that would normally get thrown away. We take that waste, spin it into new material, and turn it into your bag. The result is a smooth fabric that looks great and does good.
🌿 Did you know? Factory offcuts are the scraps left over after other products are made. Instead of letting them go to waste, we use them - so your bag starts its life doing good.
Recycled Canvas (600D rPET)
Bottles in, classic canvas out. Our rPET canvas takes plastic that would otherwise end up in landfill, or worse, the ocean, and turns it into something with a gorgeous matte finish and that satisfying textured feel. Tough, timeless, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
🌿 Did you know? Canvas bags can be used thousands of times before wearing out, making them one of the most durable choices going.
Taslon
Air-jet texturized nylon with a soft, almost cotton-like feel, without a single drop of chemicals or coatings. Lightweight, weather-resistant, and tough enough to outlast whatever you throw at it. Not recycled, but built to last for years. Because the most sustainable bag is one you never replace.
🌿 Did you know? That soft, matte surface is created entirely by jets of air - no chemicals, no coatings. Just clever engineering.
Recycled Nylon Ripstop
Cross-hatch weave that stops tears in their tracks. Ultra-light, seriously tough, made from recycled bottles. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Built for whatever you throw at it.
🌿 Did you know? Originally developed for military parachutes, ripstop nylon is engineered to perform under extreme conditions - your daily commute is no problem at all.
Cotton Canvas
100% natural cotton, woven into a sturdy canvas and treated with a water-resistant coating so it can handle a drizzle as well as a sunny day. Breathable, biodegradable, and built to be worn in - this one gets better with age.
🌿 Did you know? Cotton canvas is one of the few bag materials that can biodegrade naturally at the end of its life.
Every Recycled Canvas bag starts as a plastic bottle
Our recycled fabrics are made from post-consumer plastic bottles - collected, broken into pellets, spun into thread, woven into your bag.
Figures are approximate, based on 500ml bottles. All recycled fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
The bag it comes in? That's compostable.
All our bags arrive protected by poly bags which are made from corn starch and certified compostable. You can pop it in your home food or garden bin – the bacteria do the rest. No plastic, no fuss. Our bags are shipped from the warehouse to your door within paper mailing bags – these paper mailers are 100% recyclable and the paper is FSC accredited.
Beyond the Bag
Sustainable materials are just the start. We also think carefully about:
B Corp Certified
Anyone can say they care. B Corp certification means ours has been independently verified, across how we treat people, how we affect the planet, and how we run things day to day. It's the difference between a promise and a proof point.
The certification covers hundreds of criteria across social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. It's reassessed every three years, so there's no such thing as resting on your laurels. We have to keep showing up, and we think that's exactly how it should be!
We're not perfect. But we're trying, every single day.
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We'll keep pushing, keep improving, and keep you in the loop.
Got questions or ideas? We'd love to hear from you.
